Matter-ials
Through a series of indoor installations, this exhibition will take you through the theme of Design With Impact using materials that matter.
The indoor installations demonstrate the positive impact design can have on the environment by underscoring prominent environmental issues, symbolizing the opportunity created by recycling and providing a platform for cutting-edge material innovations.
Designing Women
Take a journey through an immersive multi-media exhibition where female designers will showcase vibrant aesthetics and design.
Explore a unique display of creativity shaped by a mix of cultural influences. The selected installations are composed from statement materials to create interactive concepts and visually represent the role of women in design.
Design in the Metaverse
Pushing the boundaries of design.
Design in the Metaverse is a specially curated exhibition, by Dubai-based Metaverse development specialist MetaDecrypt, that will explore how Metaverse technology is pushing the boundaries of design and redefining what constitutes an immersive experience.
The exhibition offers visitors an immersive experience that will highlight the Metaverse's role in various industries, such as architecture, fashion, real estate and immersive experiences in gaming. The sleekly designed exhibition area will allow attendees to physically and mentally explore the Metaverse.
UAE Designer Exhibition
Among the many highlights of Dubai Design Week’s programme is the much-anticipated UAE Designer Exhibition.
A showcase of established and emerging regional talent from different design disciplines, curated by Cyril Zammit. Taking place in the Downtown Design tent, the exhibition offers creatives a platform for visibility among leading designers from around the globe, whilst expanding and strengthening their audience and professional network.
The space has been designed by the revered Emirati architecture duo at Studio D.04, with a nod to materials used in classical Emirati homes.
d3 Architecture Exhibition
This year’s programming will also include the third edition of the d3 Architecture Exhibition.
The exhibition showcases a collection of eight architectural works that demonstrate that the innovation of sustainable materials and design combined have a positive impact on the environment. International and regional architecture firms sit alongside one another, demonstrating a united vision in sustainability.
